Gambling legislation in Denmark is undergoing changes. We are witnessing an internationalisation and an approximation of gambling regulations within as well as outside the EU.

In 2010, it is expected that gambling monopoly will be abolished in Denmark and that the Danish government will grant access to both Danish and international gaming providers. Plesner closely monitors this process, provides advice on among other things the conditions set by the Danish government when granting gaming licenses in Denmark and publishes articles in international magazines on this topic.
